As an avid backpacker and hiker, I travel from Trail to Studio. I walk to hard-to-reach places, capture wild beauty with my camera, and return to my studio to paint from my photographs, using watercolor, acrylic, and oil. I find inspiration in my backyard on the mountain, where the ordinary is extraordinary. I strive to capture nature's vibrant colors and gorgeous light.
